FIL NOIR. Camiceria est. 1899

The story began in 1889, in the small Tuscan town of Certaldo when the brothers Luca and Lorenzo Manzini take over their father’s business after he passed away. Thanks to craftsmanship and commercial talent their men’s underclothes soon become the epitome of quality beyond the borders of Florence and Milan. Only one year later was born the idea for their first own shirt collection which was then sold in Italy, England and France. Impeccable craftsmanship, finest cotton fabrics, exquisite ingredients and fair prices were appealing: in 1899, the Manzini brothers supplied 120 customers throughout Europe, France being their major market.
